Jakarta, Sunday (29/1/2023) -- The battle of the Indonesian Badminton National Team (Timnas) at the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2023 event continues to the Final round.
Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo successfully defeated China's Shi Yuqi and Hong Kong's Angus Ng Ka Long, respectively.
Meanwhile, the men's doubles team of Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin triumphed over Japan’s Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kabayashi.
The athlete with the nickname Jojo promises to exert all his energy in order to prove that Indonesian athletes have high competitiveness in the Global arena.
"I am grateful for the achievements so far. I will certainly give my all in the final round to be able to prove that the Indonesian Badminton Team deserves to be world champions. Thank you also to BNI for continuing to support us in our struggle so far," he said on Saturday (28/1/2023).
As for BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo, he expressed his pride for the Indonesian national team who had fought until the final round.
"The entire BNI family feels the joy of the Indonesian team qualifying for the final and hopes to reach the final and win," he said.
