Commemorating National Waste Awareness Day, BNI Donates Pos Pandai Equipment

Jakarta, Thursday (23/2/2023) -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI is committed to supporting green economy activities by remaining proactive in commemorating the National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN). This time, BNI provides assistance for Pos Pandai equipment and education on community-based waste bank management.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that the waste bank management movement is running smoothly through the company's collaboration with various communities.

"Through this collaborative movement, we want to continue to strengthen public awareness about a healthy, safe and comfortable environment," Okki said on Thursday (23/2/2023).

Okki continued, this activity is a form of concern for the environment and BNI is committed to always holding various environmentally friendly programs.

This waste bank program will continue in all BNI regional offices through collaboration with local stakeholders and partners.

In the meantime, Rangga Mekar Waste Bank Representative and Chairman of Yayasan Bumi Selaras Sejahtera (YBSS) Muhamad Sulton Abdul Aziz added that this activity is the spirit of Rangga Mekar to continue to help the government in managing waste that exists in the region.

"We are thankful to BNI for always supporting many of our environmental awareness activities. Pos Pandai is intended to be more active in inviting the community to change the paradigm of throwing garbage to storing garbage in a place that we have made modern. That's why we call it Pos Pandai," he concluded.
