Jakarta, 21 December 2020 --- Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 holidays are drawing closer. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) keeps on activating its 201 branch offices on a limited basis so that people who still need financial transactions can be served during the holiday. With this service, the customers’ momentum with their families and closest people while on vacation remains warm and remains concerned with health protocols.
BNI carries out limited operations for two time periods, namely the First, on 24-25 December 2020. At this time, there are 24 outlets that continue to operate on a limited basis, namely serving Pertamina's fuel oil (BBM) deposits and tax payments. Services are available from 10.00 to 12.00 of local time.
The Second Period, on 31 December 2020. BNI opens 201 of its branch offices to provide services for several transactions, namely deposits, cash withdrawals of a maximum of Rp. 25 million per account, BNI account transfers, Pertamina fuel deposits, tax deposits, maintenance of savings or loan accounts, credit activities, to e-channel activations. Services are available from 09.00 to 15.00 of local time.
Especially on 1 January 2020, BNI closed all of its branch offices because it coincided with New Year's Holidays. However, transactions can still use BNI digital service network. All BNI outlets will return to normal operations on 28, 29 and 30 December 2020 and 4 January 2021.
The Director of Services and Network of BNI, Ronny Venir said, BNI maintains strict health protocols when providing services, including during limited operations. The Health Protocol implemented includes applying social distancing both at the front liner and in the back office with work station adjustments including signage for customer queues, bench restrictions and provision of hand sanitizers, masks and gloves for the front liners.
"We also spray disinfectant regularly outside of working hours, both for work spaces and at ATM locations. We continue to encourage customers to transact using all digital channels owned by BNl," said Ronny in Jakarta, Monday, 21 December 2020.
For cash needs, BNI has also prepared IDR 14.5 trillion. The availability of cash has taken into account the community’s cash needs during the long holiday period.Â
