Jakarta, 8 December 2021 -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk or BNI (stock code BBNI) again won the Most Trusted Company 2020 award Based on Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI).
The award was presented to the Human Capital and Compliance Director of BNI, Bob Tyasika Ananta at the Indonesia Most Trusted Companies 2020 event with the theme Building Company Resilience in the Framework of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in Jakarta, Wednesday (8 December 2021).
This award was conferred by SWA Magazine together with the Indonesia Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) for BNI's transformation efforts in building the Company's excellence and resilience in the midst of global competition and during the pandemic.
Also for BNI's commitment to IT capacity development that supports digitally oriented businesses that meet Stakeholder Expectations and provide security guarantees to customers.
The Chairman of IICG, Gendut Suprayitno said, the implementing party has conducted a survey from internal and external to the Company in order to carry out an assessment related to GCG and through sustainable steps.
In the meantime, SWA Group Chief Editor, Kemal E Gani said that his party and IICG had completed 20 years of implementing this program since 2001. This is because the implementation of GCG in corporations is an unquestionable matter and a requirement for the Company to continue to grow solidly and sustainably.
"CGPI 2020 raises the theme of Building Company Resilience in the Framework of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). That's because we want to emphasize that any corporate effort in developing a business, must be within the framework of GCG discipline, moreover, in today's challenging business conditions," he said.
As for information, during the CGPI 2019 period, BNI also managed to maintain the title of Indonesia Most Trusted Company with a score of 90.74 which was held in 2020.
