Three Indonesian Representatives Enter the All England 2024 Final, BNI Supports the Athletes' Struggle to Make History

17/03/2024. JAKARTA - Indonesia's badminton athletes made another brilliant achievement at the All England 2024 event. Three Indonesian representatives managed to enter the final round, namely Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, and men's doubles pair Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

This achievement provides fuel for Indonesia to demonstrate its strength in the badminton world. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, the principal sponsor of PBSI, is committed to completely supporting the athletes' battle to carve a new history for Indonesian badminton.

“We are very proud of the outstanding achievements achieved by Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, and Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto. They have shown a high fighting spirit and made Indonesia proud in the eyes of the world,” said BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo.

BNI's support for Indonesian badminton athletes is not only financial, but also in the form of coaching and developing young talents. BNI believes that with the right coaching, Indonesia can continue to produce outstanding badminton athletes in the future.

According to Okki, BNI's full commitment to support the progress and achievements of national badminton is in line with BNI's vision and mission to become a leading bank in the country and go global, and contribute to the nation's name in the international arena.

"BNI will continue to provide full support to PBSI and Indonesian badminton athletes as they strive for success in international tournaments. We hope they can continue to make the nation proud and bring Indonesia to be a superior country in the badminton world," Okki added.

The success of the three Indonesian representatives is inseparable from their hard work and dedication in facing tough opponents in the All England 2024 semifinals which took place on Saturday (16/3) to Sunday (17/3) early morning of Western Indonesian Time Zone.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting outperformed French representative Christo Popov in a closely contested match by scores of 19-21, 21-5, and 21-11. Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie and the duo Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto demonstrated tremendous performance by winning their semifinal matches.

The inclusion of Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie in the men's singles final automatically created an “All Indonesian Final” at the All England 2024. It has been 30 years since the last time Indonesian men's singles ruled the All England.

The men's doubles of Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto were also in the final to take another step towards defending their title. This is certainly a very historic and proud moment for Indonesian badminton.

The All England 2024 final will be held at Utilita Arena Birmingham on Sunday (17/3) at 10:00 local time or 17:00 WIB. BNI invites all Indonesian people to provide full support to the Indonesian representatives in the final round.

“Let's unite our enthusiasm and prayers to deliver Indonesian athletes to victory in the 2024 All England final. Let's #JumpHigher and show that Indonesia can be the best in the world,” Okki concluded.
