27/05/2025. JAKARTA - PT BNI Venture Capital or BNI Ventures (BNV) continues to be committed to encouraging the growth and development of the technology-based fisheries sector in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the funding of aqua-tech startup, Fishlog.
This Pre-Series A follow-up funding is not only injected by BNI Ventures, but also involves Mandiri Capital Indonesia, Accel Partners, Insignia Ventures Partners, and Saison Capital.
BNI Ventures CEO Eddi Danusaputro said the strategic move is expected to strengthen the fisheries ecosystem in Indonesia and encourage the use of technology to improve efficiency and sustainability.
“BNI Ventures looks to the future of Indonesia's fisheries sector with optimism that can be realized through innovative platforms like Fishlog,” said Eddi.
Fishlog is a fisheries platform that connects national fisheries cold-chain storage by involving community participation.
The platform aims to increase the utility of storage by involving more fishermen, distributors, and buyers, thereby streamlining the fishery product supply chain with efficient processes and sustainable distribution.
Fishlog also collaborates with suppliers through a Joint Operation business model to develop joint businesses and provide financing support for fisheries actors. On the buyer side, Fishlog created a digital fish marketplace to facilitate transactions more efficiently.
