Jakarta, 1 April 2022 -- BNI Xpora is increasingly proving its contribution in encouraging export-import performance as a pillar of the national economic recovery from the Corona virus outbreak. In a hearing meeting, Wednesday (30/3/2022), member of Commission VI, Mufti Anam gave his appreciation to the innovation of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. or BNI for the Xpora program. This program actually brings updates for export-oriented SMEs.
"Thanks to Xpora, Bali Chocolate has been exported to Singapore. There are batik producers who are not only given credit but also assistance. These batik producers can increase their exports," he said.
Meanwhile, throughout 2021, BNI Xpora contributed to the distribution of export-oriented loans of Rp. 2.49 trillion.
On this occasion, Mufti also appreciated BNI's support for Indonesian badminton so that it could win the All England and Swiss Open.
Darmadi Durianto, Member of Commission VI DPR RI agrees with his colleagues in the PDIP faction regarding Xpora being able to answer the challenges of developing MSMEs in Indonesia.
"I also appreciate BNI, Mr. Royke and his staff for their extraordinary performance. Besides that, I am also impressed with Xpora, sir, I believe Xpora can be even better in encouraging Millennials and MSMEs to penetrate the global market. My advice is to maximize socialization through Millennial communities or MSME communities throughout Indonesia, we members of the DPR are also ready to help socialize the program."
On the other hand, Member of Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR), Andre Rosiade suggested that the assets of state-owned Banks abroad be cooperated to become BNI branches.
Thus, the identity as well as the government's mandate to make BNI a global Indonesian Bank can be realized.
"If it is BNI that will be appointed by Himbara to become a global Bank, why don't the assets of Bank Mandiri or BRI outside be used as a collaboration to become a BNI branch, so that the focus is indeed happening, so it is a collaboration between Himbara," said Andre.
