This time BNI supports the Kriya Nusantara (Kriyanusa) Exhibition 2022 which is a series of activities for the 42nd Anniversary of the National Crafts Council (Dekranas).
This prestigious MSME event showcases the products of MSME craftsmen from all over Indonesia. This exhibition is expected to be a place to preserve and develop Indonesian handicraft products while at the same time encouraging economic growth and expansion of the Nusantara handicraft market.
The Kriyanusa opening ceremony was made by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and Mrs. Vice President Wury Ma'ruf Amin at the Jakarta Convention Center, Wednesday (21/9/2022).
On the occasion, Deputy President Director of BNI Adi Sulistyowati said that the Kriya Nusantara Exhibition is a momentum for BNI to carry out its commitment to strengthening the performance of the economic backbone segment, namely MSMEs. Moreover, craft is a segment of the MSME industry which is classified as having very positive business potential, both domestically and abroad.
"BNI's participation in Kriyanusa 2022 is a form of BNI's support and endorsement or government programs through Dekranas throughout Indonesia. We hope that many craft SMEs will be able to demonstrate the quality of their products. Not only to attract domestic customers but also abroad," she said.
Adi Sulistyowati, who is familiarly called Susi, said that as a development agent mandated to become a global bank from Indonesia, BNI has a strong ecosystem to encourage local craft products to penetrate the global market. The company also has a coaching and mentoring program that can help MSME players to be able to penetrate foreign markets.
