Jakarta, Wednesday (1/3/2023) -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI again supports the organization of the exhibition entitled the 23rd Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT 2023) as one of the largest handicraft product exhibitions in Southeast Asia, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 1-5 March 2023.
BNI's support at INACRAFT 2023 is a form of BNI's commitment to developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) so that they can upgrade and compete in the international market or Go Global.
By displaying their best products in the biggest craft exhibition in Indonesia, MSME players have the opportunities to get market expansion to foreign countries.
As for this time, BNI included dozens of Go Export Assisted MSMEs as a form of showcase for the strength of MSMEs during this year's economic recovery. The fostered MSMEs include copper crafts, batik, ceramics, wood, plaiting, and dagger.
The MSME players include Tatik Handicraft, Widi Nugraha Batik Fossil, Tanteri Ceramic Bali, Atun Cempaka Sasirangan, Golden Wood, Brekele Craft, Wonosari Art, and Serunic Home, Wan Keris Antique, Dhimas Silver, Quwalli Leather, Kampoeng BNI Batik Tulis Lasem, Mikon Craft, Agustinus Budi Pottery, Woodn Home, Seagara Craft, Tenun Sekomandi Tonoling, and others.
BNI Deputy President Director Adi Sulistyowati said the MSME segment grew very well in 2022 and is expected to continue to grow this year. BNI continues to encourage the implementation of national exhibitions, especially on a global scale to support MSME players to improve the quality of their products and export their products abroad.
"We are very proud to contribute to Jakarta INACRAFT 2023. We believe that this event can be an accelerator for better economic growth at the beginning of this year," she remarked.
Adi Sulistyowati, who is familiarly called Susi, continued, the MSME players included have quality products and have proven to be able to penetrate world quality standards.
