29/11/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI proactively supports Trisakti University to promote sustainable technology innovation and entrepreneurship and develop a reliable and competitive green campus.
In the Technopreneurship event towards a reliable Green Campus, Trisakti University Rector Kadarsah Suryadi and BNI Institutional Banking Director Muhammad Iqbal were present in person at Trisakti University on Tuesday (28/11/2023).
According to Iqbal, entrepreneurship is currently the government's primary emphasis for improvement. This is because Indonesia's entrepreneurship rate in ASEAN is merely 3.47%.
Furthermore, BNI is a state-owned bank that actively encourages the younger generation, particularly those on campus, to create entrepreneurial ideas and take an active role in Indonesia's development.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this activity. Hopefully we can be consistent in fostering innovation and sustainable technology entrepreneurship as well as establishing a dependable and competitive green campus," Iqbal stated during a series of 58th Anniversary events, namely the Trisakti University Senate Open Session.
According to Iqbal, today's technological advancements would make it simpler for young people to become entrepreneurs. The younger generation has a very-much-open opportunity to become entrepreneurs.
In fact, entrepreneurial opportunities come not only by utilizing the potential of the domestic market, but also the increasingly integrated foreign market.
"To differentiate themselves from competitors, an entrepreneur must innovate and develop creativity. This will also be facilitated by the development of technology that is increasingly sophisticated today," concluded Iqbal.
During the event, BNI symbolically handed over assistance to Trisakti University in the form of assistance to support student activities, especially in marching bands and mini orchestras.
This assistance is provided in light of the fact that art activities, particularly orchestra and marching band for students who aspire to be entrepreneurs, must be reinforced in order for students to master art and develop their talents.
