04/01/2024. BNI Hi-Movers, Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to show its commitment in supporting the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. One of BNI's real efforts in improving the quality of MSMEs is through the BNI Berbagi program by providing assistance in halal certification assistance training and onboarding training and marketplace optimization.
This assistance program is provided to 422 food MSMEs, both customers, debtors, and prospective debtors. The halal certification assistance training and onboarding training was held in December 2023, at DPP Hidayatullah, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the purpose of this assistance is to provide comprehensive facilities not only to obtain halal certificates but also to be encouraged to enter a larger market line to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) number 8 regarding decent work and economic growth.
"This assistance not only benefits MSMEs, but also contributes to overall national economic growth. By continuing to encourage the improvement of the quality and capacities of MSMEs, BNI plays a vital role in attaining Indonesia's vision as an inclusive and sustainable economic center," Okki said in Jakarta.
As is known, halal certification not only provides a guarantee of product halalness, but also increases consumer confidence. With halal certification, MSMEs can reach a wider market and even go global, especially among consumers who pay attention to the halal aspects of products.
Furthermore, online onboarding training support and marketplace optimization are intended to broaden the marketing reach of MSMEs in order to achieve long-term economic success.
Participants will get a variety of resources throughout the session, including halal certification training (functions, aims, and methods for gaining halal certification), support in creating documents to meet certification standards, and aid in entering data into the program. There is also material on certification audit help, certificate granting and onboarding training (online), and marketplace optimization.
