BNI Exporters Forum Supports MSMEs to Penetrate the Global Market

06/03/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI through the Xpora program is committed to supporting MSMEs Go Global and increasing foreign exchange.

Understanding this, BNI Xpora collaborated with the Directorate General of Customs & Excise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Trade in organizing the BNI Exporters Forum with the theme Export Market Prospect 2024, today Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Aryaduta Menteng Hotel.

This forum was held with the aim of providing insights and the latest information related to export market prospects in foreign countries to MSME players.

Approximately 50 small and medium-sized export-ready MSMEs (Ready To Export) segments that have been selling various types of products and superior commodities from Indonesia attended this event as BNI partners and partners of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in Jabodetabek.

Director of BNI Retail Banking, Corina Leyla Karnalies emphasized that MSMEs must be encouraged to increase their capacity and capability in doing business since MSMEs play a vital role as the backbone of the Indonesia economy.

“One of the main keys in expanding business scale is to penetrate the export market. In addition to support in the form of training, mentoring, and financing, MSMEs also require assistance in terms of providing market access to expand market coverage, especially abroad,” said Corina.

For this reason, this BNI Exporters Forum presented competent resource persons from the Ministry of Trade and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, so that MSME players had the opportunity to obtain the latest information on market prospects, regulations, and export regulations in various countries.

Not only that, MSME players are also given solutions regarding financial transactions and export transactions as well as new insights and knowledge with the aim of helping MSMEs penetrate the global market.

Corina added, BNI Exporters Forum is a form of BNI's commitment in supporting MSMEs to improve the quality of their business so that they can compete in the international market and can boost foreign exchange.

“BNI will continue to innovate and collaborate with various parties to provide the best solutions for MSME players.”

It is planned that BNI Exporters Forum activities will be held in 20 major cities in Indonesia with the hope of having a broad impact on improving MSMEs Go Global.
