26/03/2024. SURABAYA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI and Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) showed their social care in Ramadan 1445 Hijriah through BNI Berbagi program. As a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, BNI and UNAIR synergized to distribute 1,000 staple food packages to orphanages, cleaning service workers, and the poor in UNAIR.
The event took place at UNAIR Rectorate Building Surabaya on Thursday, March 21, 2020 and was attended by UNAIR Rector Mohammad Nasih, Vice Rector for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, and other UNAIR officials.
As for BNI, Director of Institutional Banking Munadi Herlambang, Head of Institutional Banking Division 2 Efrizal, and RCEO Region 06 Surabaya Maya Agustina were present.
Munadi explained that the BNI Berbagi program is a form of BNI's concern and support for the community and orphans in the blessed month of Ramadan. "We hope this program can foster a sense of solidarity and care for others, and benefit the community around UNAIR," he said.
Furthermore, Munadi explained that this assistance is a form of BNI's commitment as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in carrying out CSR programs in a sustainable manner.
BNI Berbagi program is a form of BNI's commitment to share happiness with the community during Ramadan. BNI expects this program will help the community and improve the partnership between BNI and UNAIR.
"This collaboration with UNAIR shows a harmonious working relationship and BNI's seriousness in working on every aspect of the UNAIR ecosystem. Hopefully what we provide can be useful for all parties and bring blessings in this Ramadan," concluded Munadi.
