Held in Bali, BNI Fully Supports World Water Forum 2024

22/05/2024. NUSA DUA - Indonesia and the World Water Council held the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) with the theme “Water for Shared Prosperity” in Bali on May 18-24, 2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI contributed as the only banking partner in this international forum.

The World Water Forum is the largest international gathering of water stakeholders. This forum is a forum to find solutions to water problems and issues in the world.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, as a state-owned bank, BNI feels called to participate in social activities that concern the lives of many people.

“It is an honor for Indonesia, especially Bali, to be chosen as the host of the World Water Forum. BNI is also proud to be part of this important world agenda as the only banking partner supporting WWF,” said Okki.

During the week of WWF 2024, world leaders, heads of international organizations, high-ranking government officials, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and economists from around the world will share knowledge, experiences and practices on a wide range of water-related topics.

BNI's participation in supporting the WWF 2024 series of activities is by providing convenience for participants to transact at Money Changer, cash deposit Virtual Account (VA) payments, use of Electronic Data Captured (EDC), to BNI Motion Services.

“BNI is the only bank that facilitates pooling transaction funds, ticket purchases, and EDC transactions at the World Water Forum 2024 event location,” Okki said.

The largest international forum in the field of natural resources is targeting to bring in 17,000 forum participants, 30,000 expo participants and visitors, 6 heads of state, 48 Ministers and 1,022 delegates from international countries and organizations.

This is an opportunity for BNI to show its presence in the international arena and increase banking transactions.

“Through this forum, we hope to create positive agreements for all countries and increase business capacity for all stakeholders,” Okki concluded.
