Celebrating 78th Anniversary, BNI Launches Special TapCash Card Blackpink the Game

(29/6/2024) - JAKARTA – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI again presents a special edition of TapCash (electronic money) with the theme of Korean Pop (KPop) by launching                                                                                                                                 TapCash Card Blackpink the Game.

This step is a continuation of BNI's success in attracting the attention of Indonesian KPop lovers through the special edition TapCash NCT 127, NCT Dream, Super Junior, Red Velvet in 2023 and TapCash NCT WayV in May 2024.

BNI is partnering with Takeone Company, a South Korean agency company that holds the official Blackpink the Game product license from YG Entertainment. Blackpink itself is a K-Pop Girl Group with number one popularity internationally.

The launch of TapCash Blackpink the Game is also part of a series of events to welcome BNI's 78th Anniversary (HUT) which falls on July 5, 2024. The BNI TapCash Blackpink the Game Launching Ceremony was held at the Main Atrium Lotte Avenue Mall, Jakarta, Saturday, July 5, 2024 (29/6/2024).

Present at the event were BNI Retail Digital Solution SEVP Rian Eriana Kaslan, Alfamart Marketing Director Ryan Alfons Kaloh, Alfamidi Operations Director Heru Sarwono, Alfamidi Legal and Compliance Director Afid Hermeily, and Lotte Mall President Director Ahn Chi Woo.

In his remarks, Rian expressed that this collaboration is a form of BNI's commitment in providing the best service to customers, especially KPop lovers or KPopers in Indonesia.

“We hope that with this special edition TapCash collaboration of Blackpink the Game, Kpopers throughout Indonesia can make TapCash not only as a collectible item, but also make it a cashless payment tool that is always used in daily activities,” said Rian.

According to Rian, there are currently at least 13 million BNI TapCash cards circulating in the larger population. It is envisaged that the debut of the unique design TapCash card Blackpink the Game would pique the public's attention and make more lively of TapCash circulation.

BNI TapCash special edition Blackpink the Game comes in four designs and is a licensed official product with a photo of Blackpink the Game. On the back of the TapCash starter pack, this special design features Exclusive Holograms and Official Signatures from all Blackpink members, namely Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa as a sign of product authenticity.

Rian continued, after launching BNI TapCash Blackpink the Game, BNI will also hold post-event activities for Blink Indonesia such as Fanbase Gathering, Cover Dance Competition, Cover Songs Competition, and other interesting events.

BNI collaborates with Alfa Group, in this case Alfamart, Alfamidi and DanDan as the official retail partner for selling BNI TapCash special edition of Blackpink the Game. To make it easier for users to top up their TapCash balance, TapCash owners can top up their balance through the BNI Mobile Banking application, BNI ATMs, Alfamart, Alfamidi, DanDan, Indomaret, and e-commerce such as Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli, as well as through the Gojek and LinkAja applications.

“Hopefully this collaboration will benefit all parties. Let's add to your TapCash collection, especially this special Blackpink design, don't miss it,” said Rian.
