BNI and BPJS Kesehatan Expand Cooperation to Enhance National Health Services

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI and the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) Health are expanding their cooperation to improve the quality of services for participants of the National Health Insurance-Indonesian Health Card (JKN-KIS). This step is expected to facilitate better services at Primary Health Facilities (FKTP) and Advanced Referral Health Facilities (FKRTL) throughout Indonesia.

The collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement which took place in Jakarta on Wednesday, (16/10/2024). One of the main focuses of this partnership is the implementation of Supply Infrastructure Financing (SIF) financing, which is designed to facilitate FKTP and FKRTL in improving infrastructure and the quality of health services.

Director of Enterprise and Commercial Banking I Made Sukajaya revealed that BNI supports the improvement of national health services for the health of the Indonesian people through the MoU on the Provision of Utilization of Banking Products and Services and the National Health Insurance PKS through cooperation between Health Facility (faskes) partners with BPJS Kesehatan.

"BNI plays an active role in supporting business growth in various sectors, including the health sector. This collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan is our real step to contribute to improving health services for the Indonesian people," said Made.

He noted that this collaboration is intended to boost the capacity and quality of BPJS Kesehatan's health facility partners, allowing the public to enjoy the benefits of improved and more comfortable health facilities.

"Hopefully with this partnership, BNI will continue to innovate in providing banking services that support BPJS Kesehatan operations. We also hope to contribute more widely in efforts to improve the health and welfare of the Indonesian people," concluded Made.

With this collaboration, BNI and BPJS Kesehatan are optimistic that they can provide better and more equitable health services throughout the country, providing a positive impact on the health and welfare of the community.
