(19/10/2025) - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI presented a modern transaction experience and digital financial literacy for participants and visitors at the TNI RUN 2025 event, which took place in Yogyakarta on October 17–19, 2025.
Through its support services and digital payment ecosystem, BNI has strengthened its role in driving financial transformation among the public, particularly the younger generation and sports communities.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that BNI's participation in TNI RUN 2025 was part of the company's efforts to expand access to digital financial services to various segments of society.
“The presence of BNI's digital services at this event is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to supporting the practical and connected lifestyle of modern society. We want to make TNI RUN an entry point for the younger generation to experience firsthand the convenience of BNI's digital ecosystem,” said Okki in a written statement.
BNI provided a number of digital facilities at the event location, such as the wondr by BNI booth, BNI Banking Café, and the BNI QRIS merchant network spread across the Malioboro area. Through these services, participants and visitors were able to make transactions quickly, safely, and cashless.
The involvement of local merchants connected to BNI's QRIS was also expected to boost the turnover of MSME players while expanding digital inclusion in the tourist center of Yogyakarta.
In addition to transaction facilities, BNI also presented various exciting activities such as a rest area booth, a photo spot with the theme “Run for Unity, Run for Indonesia,” and merchant promotions such as coffee discounts for users of the wondr by BNI app.
BNI O-Branch with a New Concept
During the Race Pack Collection event, BNI also operated BNI O-Branch at Sender Coffee, Sleman. Unlike conventional mobile banking services, BNI O-Branch incorporates a coffee shop concept into its design.
This service not only provides convenience for customers, but also serves as a space for collaboration between BNI and its fostered merchants to participate in joint exhibitions.
In addition to expanding digital access, BNI was also targeting increased transactions during the event, ranging from new account openings to activation of the wondr by BNI app by participants and visitors. This initiative is expected to strengthen the digital customer base while expanding BNI's product penetration in the sports and tourism community segments.
