A total of 3,500 runners from Indonesia and abroad will participate in the Adhyaksa International Run 2026, to be held at Peninsula Nusa Dua, Bali, on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Supported by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), this event is not only a sporting event but also part of efforts to promote the growth of sports tourism, the local economy, and the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that the high turnout of runners—comprising 600 Half Marathon participants, 1,500 10K participants, and 1,400 5K participants—reflects the growing trend toward a healthy lifestyle in society, as well as Indonesia’s increasing appeal as a world-class sports tourism destination.

“BNI views this event as a strategic opportunity to strengthen synergies between the sports, tourism, and creative economy sectors. The presence of international runners also generates a multiplier effect for the local economy,” Okki said in a written statement.

More than just a running event, this initiative offers an integrated experience that combines sports, recreation, and environmental sustainability under the theme “Better Air for The Future.” This theme promotes collective awareness of the importance of air quality and sustainable living, in line with various national initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and improving the quality of life for the community.

As part of its commitment to accelerating financial inclusion and digitalization, BNI showcased a range of integrated digital banking solutions throughout the event. These included instant account opening, convenient transactions via QRIS, and optimized use of the wondr by BNI app.

A variety of exciting programs are also available to provide added value for participants and visitors, including up to IDR500,000 credit card cashback, up to IDR100,000 account opening rewards, BNI debit card transaction cashback of up to 10% (maximum IDR80,000), and various special offers via QRIS wondr by BNI/

This initiative not only enhances the convenience of transactions but also represents a concrete step by BNI toward expanding digital financial literacy and inclusion within the community.

“Through this support, BNI aims to provide a seamless financial experience that is also relevant to the needs of modern lifestyles. This is also part of BNI’s active role in supporting digital-based economic transformation,” added Okki.

BNI’s participation in the Adhyaksa International Run 2026 underscores the company’s commitment to continuing to contribute to the sustainable development of the national ecosystem, including through the strengthening of the tourism sector, the empowerment of local economies, and the improvement of people’s quality of life.

This event is expected to serve as a symbol of cross-sector collaboration that can help make Indonesia more competitive on the global stage, while also delivering tangible benefits to the broader public.
