BNI Strengthens Synergy with Bank Indonesia, Encouraging the Creative Economy and National Digital Payments

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, continues to strengthen its role as a strategic partner to the government and regulators in driving Indonesia's digital economic transformation. This commitment is demonstrated through BNI's participation in the Jakarta Creative Festival 2026, organized by Bank Indonesia (BI) at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, on July 4–5, 2026.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that BNI's participation in the Jakarta Creative Festival 2026 is part of the Company's commitment to continue supporting various BI initiatives in expanding the adoption of digital transactions, strengthening QRIS implementation, and building an increasingly integrated national payment ecosystem.

"As a strategic partner of the government in the financial sector, BNI is committed to supporting Bank Indonesia (BI) in accelerating the digitalization of payment systems and strengthening the creative economy ecosystem. Through the Jakarta Creative Festival 2026, we aim to provide a simple, secure, and seamless transaction experience while introducing various financial solutions that can support the activities of the community and creative businesses," said Okki.

Carrying the theme "A Creative Movement for a Sustainable Global City", the Jakarta Creative Festival 2026 is a collaborative platform between Bank Indonesia, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), industry players, and creative communities in strengthening the creative economy ecosystem while accelerating digital transformation in Jakarta.

The festival features a variety of activities, including an MSME exhibition, financial education and literacy, payment system digitalization, sports competitions, music performances, and a film festival, all part of its efforts to build an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable ecosystem.

According to Okki, digital transformation is not only about technological development, but also about how financial services can provide convenience, security, and added value to every economic activity. Therefore, BNI continues to strengthen collaboration with regulators and various stakeholders so that financial service innovations can reach more people and businesses.

"BNI believes that a vibrant creative economy ecosystem requires the support of a modern, inclusive, and accessible financial system. As a result, we will continue to offer innovative services that not only simplify transactions but also increase community and creative business productivity while driving long-term national economic growth. The synergy with Bank Indonesia through the Jakarta Creative Festival is a tangible example of this commitment," he emphasized.

As it approaches its 80th anniversary on July 5, 2026, BNI continues to strengthen its digital transformation and expand financial inclusion as part of the Company’s dedication to the nation. In line with the spirit of Swadharma Bhakti Negara, BNI is committed to remaining a trusted partner to the government, regulators, the business community, and the public in building an increasingly advanced, inclusive, and competitive digital economic ecosystem in Indonesia.

For eight decades, BNI has believed that collaboration is the key to creating a broader impact on the national economy. Therefore, the Company will continue to support various strategic initiatives that strengthen the creative economy, expand financial inclusion, and accelerate digital transformation to drive Indonesia’s sustainable growth.
