BNI Private AUM Grows 21%; Wealth Management Strengthens Further

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, recorded growth in its wealth management business through BNI Private up to the second quarter of 2026. BNI Private's assets under management (AUM) grew by 21% year-on-year, while third-party funds increased by 24% year-on-year.

This growth reflects increasing customer confidence in the wealth management services developed by the company, while simultaneously strengthening BNI's position in the wealth management segment.

BNI Private’s performance has also garnered international recognition from *The Asset*, which named it "The Best Private Bank in Indonesia." This recognition serves as an impetus to continuously enhance service quality for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).

BNI SEVP of Wealth Management Steven Suryana stated that this growth in AUM and third-party funds reflects customer confidence in BNI's capabilities to manage wealth optimally.

"Recognition as 'The Best Private Bank in Indonesia' further motivates us to continue delivering services that go beyond mere wealth management—offering solutions that are innovative, comprehensive, and meet global standards," said Steven in a written statement.

Through BNI Private, the company provides wealth management solutions that encompass deposit products—such as savings accounts, current accounts, and time deposits—as well as various investment instruments.

These investment options range from government and corporate bonds, mutual funds, and stock referrals to treasury and derivative products tailored to the client's risk profile and investment objectives.

In addition to asset management, BNI also strengthens its service proposition through the development of cross-border wealth management, the expansion of services within the corporate ecosystem, and the hosting of various exclusive client experiences.

The Company also develops the Next-Gen Community program to foster long-term relationships with clients and the next generation. This approach ensures that BNI Private services focus not only on wealth growth but also on assisting clients with asset continuity and intergenerational planning.

“Going forward, BNI will continue to strengthen its wealth management capabilities through product and service innovation, the development of increasingly comprehensive advisory services, and the utilization of BNI’s international network to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions,” said Steven.

By strengthening products, advisory services and international networks, BNI seeks to strengthen BNI Private's position as a wealth management partner for customers while expanding the contribution of the wealth management business to the company's growth.
