BNI Partners with Prasetiya Mulya to Strengthen Campus Financial Ecosystem

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) is strengthening its service penetration in the education sector through a partnership with Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. The collaboration encompasses the provision of payment solutions, financing, and transaction management, as well as human resource development.

The collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding by BNI’s Director of Institutional Banking, Eko Setyo Nugroho, and the Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Hassan Wirajuda, at the Universitas Prasetiya Mulya campus in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Thursday (6/8/2026).

BNI’s Director of Institutional Banking, Eko Setyo Nugroho, stated that the collaboration is part of the company's strategy to build long-term partnerships with educational institutions while expanding access to financial services for the academic community.

“BNI continues to strengthen collaboration with educational institutions as part of our commitment to building an increasingly modern, inclusive, and competitive education ecosystem,” said Eko in a written statement.

According to him, the cooperation is not only aimed at providing financial services to institutions but also opens up opportunities for collaboration in talent development.

“Through this partnership, we hope to provide financial services that offer convenience to both the institution and the academic community, while also opening up opportunities for collaboration in developing Indonesia’s future talent,” he said.

The scope of the collaboration encompasses education financing and payment solutions, partnerships for learning and talent development, consumer credit facilities for the academic community, cash management services, and various digital banking services.

BNI will also support the integrated management of Prasetiya Mulya University’s financial transactions. In addition to handling tuition payments, the company is preparing financing solutions tailored to the specific needs of the institution, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

The collaboration also encompasses the development of banking products and services, as well as other strategic cooperation opportunities mutually agreed upon by both parties.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that the partnership with Prasetiya Mulya University reflects the company's efforts to expand collaboration with educational institutions in support of creating an increasingly modern campus ecosystem.

"Digital transformation in transaction and payment management is a key aspect of enhancing service efficiency within the university environment while offering convenience to the academic community," said Okki.

The collaboration also aligns with BNI's role as part of the Danantara Indonesia ecosystem in supporting human resource development and strengthening the education sector.

This commitment is further reinforced as BNI approaches its 80th anniversary under the theme *Swadharma Bhakti Nagara*. Through expanded collaboration and the development of innovative financial solutions, BNI strives to deliver added value to the education ecosystem while supporting the enhancement of the quality of Indonesia's human resources.

Driven by a spirit of Serving Wholeheartedly, BNI will continue to strengthen synergies with educational institutions to deliver relevant financial services, support talent development, and contribute to the advancement of education and national development.
