Jakarta, 2 June 2019 --- Eid Al-Fitr is in sight. For the sake of sending homecomers to meet their families at home, a series of homecoming events using buses and trains have been held by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), including those who are disabled homecomers.
Closing Mudik Bareng BNI 2019 series with the theme " Mari Lipat Gandakan Kebaikan ", BNI flies 250 homecomers to Solo and Yogyakarta from Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday (2 Jun 2019). Present at the release of airplane homecomers was the Director of Consumer Business of BNI, Tambok P Setyawati. Mudik Bareng BNI 2019 is the part of SOEs Joint Homecoming Program of SOEs Ministry.
Tambok said, BNI awares of the needs of transportation mode for a part of homecomers. The homecomers returning home using airplane can save travel time, so that they arrive earlier, saving energy, and can spend more time with family.
"BNI Management would like to extend a big thank the homecomers for their trust in BNI. During the month of Ramadan, BNI dispatched a total of 11,343 homecomers or about 13% higher than the initial target of 10,000 homecomers. This achievement certainly cannot be separated from the beliefs of homecomers," Tambok said.
Previously, BNI had also successfully held, homecoming for Islamic Boarding School students from Balaraja, Banten to Solo, Central Java on Sunday, 26 May 2019, returning home from Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, and participating in the SOEs Homecoming at Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta on Thursday, 30 May 2019. Finally, BNI also invited homecomers to return home by bus from Wast Parking Senayan, Jakarta on 1 June 2019.
Subsidiaries’ Support
BNI cooperates with subsidiaries in providing optimal services to homecomers, among others, by providing life protection from one of BNI's subsidiary companies, namely BNI Life. BNI Homecoming 2019 provides life insurance benefits during the departure period until 10 June 2019 with a maximum coverage of Rp 30 million. Thus, the participants going home this time do not need to prepare money to pay insurance premiums.
Meanwhile in the homecoming program this time BNI Asset Management provides loyalty programs for existing customers by purchasing or topping up mutual funds, getting free homecoming tickets by bus, train and airplane. This is a form of BNI AM’s appreciation to its customers.
In Mudik Bareng BNI 2019, in addition to bus and train transportation modes, BNI Syariah also dispatched 33 airplane homecomers of 5 customers and 28 participants for hafizh quran.
