PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to strengthen its digital service innovation by collaborating with Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia (Manulife Indonesia). Through this strategic collaboration, BNI presents an easier and more efficient insurance premium payment solution for Manulife Indonesia customers.
In this collaboration, Manulife customers can utilize various BNI digital channels, such as the wondr by BNI application, ATMs, and other e-channels, to pay premiums online. Not only that, premium payments can also be made automatically through the recurring payment feature of credit cards and BNI account auto debit services.
This collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by BNI's Director of Digital and Integrated Transaction Banking Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena, and Manulife Indonesia's Director & Chief Financial Officer Meylindawati, in Jakarta, Wednesday (20/11/2024).
According to Paolo, as an acquiring bank, BNI offers the ability to process transactions using credit and debit cards through the Visa, Mastercard, and JCB networks. In the future, BNI will also support the American Express and China Union Pay networks.
"Customers can now enjoy the convenience of premium payments through BNI's integrated digital ecosystem," said Paolo.
BNI's latest application, wondr by BNI, is one of the main innovations that supports this collaboration. This application is designed to provide convenience to customers in accessing various financial services, including insurance premium payments.
"With wondr by BNI, customers can pay premiums anytime and anywhere with guaranteed transaction flexibility and security," added Paolo.
Meanwhile, from Manulife Indonesia's side, Meylindawati welcomed this collaboration as an important step to increase accessibility of insurance services. "Manulife Indonesia welcomes this collaboration as an important step in providing easy access to customers for various Manulife insurance services. This collaboration is a real manifestation of Manulife Indonesia's commitment to becoming a Digital Customer Leader and facilitating customer decisions and making their lives better," said Meylindawati.
This collaboration is expected to expand the reach of digital financial services in the banking and insurance sectors, including in remote areas. In addition to providing convenience for customers, this initiative also supports increasing financial literacy in Indonesia.
This step is part of BNI and Manulife Indonesia's commitment to create a more inclusive financial ecosystem. With this collaboration, both seek to encourage innovation while expanding access to financial services to a wider community.
Through the synergy between BNI and Manulife Indonesia, customers can now enjoy modern, fast, and secure premium payment solutions, while also being part of the digital transformation that drives financial inclusion in the country.
