Jakarta, 22 December 2020 --- The Indonesian Army, through the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation, collaborates with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Telkom), and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), to digitize Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI) in Cimahi, West Java. This is done in order to support the pillars of digital transformation in Indonesia and to create competitive Indonesian human resources and have IT capabilities.
The support marked by the signing of Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Chairman of Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation (YKEP) Lt. Gen. TNI (Purn) Tatang Sulaiman with BNI’s Division Head of SOEs & Government Institutions, Rudy Sihombing in Jakarta, Tuesday (22 December 2020). The signing was witnessed directly by the Chief of Staff of the Army, General TNI Andika Perkasa, and BNI’s Director of Institutional Relations, Sis Apik Wijayanto.
The Chief of Staff of the Army, General TNI Andika Perkasa said that the appointment of BNI, WIKA and Telkom as UNJANI partners had gone through various considerations and the selection process.
"We see that BNI and Telkom have experience in managing universities in Indonesia. This is in line with the aspirations and enthusiasm of UNJANI to become the leading Smart Campus in Indonesia," said Andika.
Meanwhile, Sis Apik explained that BNI is committed to supporting the digitization efforts that are being carried out by the Indonesian Army and the foundations under it, including YKEP's efforts to create a smart campus. BNI is ready to provide various solutions ranging from financing, managing campus operations using Cash Management and other digitization solutions as needed.
