10/11/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, together with WWF Foundation Indonesia, launched a new face of BNI-WWF Credit Card with a more-fresh card design as well as benefit-benefits that more pleasant cardholders.
Coinciding with the spirit of Heroes Day, BNI and WWF jointly launched a new collaboration in Collaboration for Earth, powered by BNI & WWF, which took place on November 9, 2023 at Dewandaru Pendopo, Haji Nawi, South Jakarta.
BNI WWF Credit Card is targeting a segment of the public that has empathy and concern for the preservation of the natural environment in Indonesia.
This card is a new breakthrough of BNI and WWF Indonesia that makes it easier for individual communities to contribute to WWF’s efforts to conserve nature.
By only having a BNI-WWF Credit Card, customers are automatically joined as Members of Nature (MoNa) to be able to experience directly what WWF Indonesia has done for nature.
Added to that, a fee is charged for each card transaction made by a costumer to support WWF Indonesia projects.
The BNI-WWF credit card issuance cooperation has begun since 2011 with the total number of cards currently in circulation amounting to more than 41 thousand cards. This card comes in gold and platinum variants.
BNI Retail Banking Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan said that the BNI-WWF Credit Card has a fresh and interesting new design, taking the theme of the diversity of endangered fauna species, namely the Sumatra Tiger, and the Sea Turtle.
In addition, the WWF BNI Credit Card also supports the spirit of go green with the use of recycled plastic as the physical material of the card.
“This card offers a fresh new card design as well as a variety of additional features and promotions that support the increasingly diverse needs of customers. We are confident that this product will be a BNI credit card product that can bring change and hope for a better planet in the future," he said.
BNI-WWF Credit Card Features & Rewards
The BNI-WWF Credit Card now offers a number of interesting new benefits, including a 10% cashback offer of up to IDR 250,000 per month for transactions of e-Commerce, Fashion, and Veterinary Clinic merchants until December 31, 2023.
BNI-WWF credit card holders can also enjoy special discount privileges of up to IDR 500,000 when trading at Superindo, Excelso, Rodalink, and Netflix merchants.
In addition, there are also features of the spending reward program that allows active card holders to obtain e-voucher shopping and attractive benefits up to IDR 500 thousand with minimum transactions starting from IDR 10 million per month and exchanging their BNI rewards points through BNI contact center.
Cardholders can also join the WWF Indonesia Exclusive Nature Trip to learn about the organization's environmental conservation efforts. Nature Trip will take place twice a year, with destinations to Labuan Bajo, Flores (July 2024) and Sebangau, Central Kalimantan (October 2024).
Each Nature Trip is allocated to 3 (three) cardholders with the most expenditure during the period of April, May, June 2024 for Labuan Bajo destination and the period of July, August, September 2024, for Sebangau destination.
