08/09/2024. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI in collaboration with ILUNI UI successfully held the BNI UI Half Marathon 2024 for the 7th time. With the theme “The Greenest & Most Sterile Route Half Marathon”, this prestigious running event received high enthusiasm. Of the 10,000 runners, around 6,000 participants competed offline and 4,000 online.
The participants came from within and outside the country. They participated in the 5K, 10K, and 21K (half marathon) race categories.
The highlight of this event was attended by Director of Institutional Banking Munadi Herlambang, as well as the BNI Board of Commissioners ranging from Pahala Nugraha Mansury, Robertus Billitea and Sigit Widyawan, and all BNI Hi Movers.
Also present were Chairman of the University of Indonesia Academic Senate Prof. Budi Wiweko and Chairman of ILUNI UI Didit Ratam and his staff.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, BNI UI Half Marathon 2024 was held to provide a safe and comfortable running experience through a green and sterile running track from motorized vehicles within the University of Indonesia campus.
“BNI UI HM is the right place for those who want to channel their interests and hobbies while being involved in social missions, as well as a gathering place for the big family of the UI Alumni Association,” Okki said in Jakarta on Sunday (8/9/2024).
Previously, a series of Road to BNI UI HM activities were held in Jakarta, Bandung, Palembang, and Bali. Similar events were also held abroad such as in Paris and Qatar.
The BNI UI Half Marathon activity which has been carried out since 2017 has always received full support from BNI by being the title sponsor.
In order to support BNI-UIHM 2024 event, Okki said, BNI has prepared several special promotional programs for runners who make transactions using BNI Credit Cards, BNI Debit Cards, BNI EDC and through the Wondr by BNI application.

Interestingly, there was Free Digimicro Protection personal accident insurance for BNI UI Half Marathon participants as well as MCU Voucher Prizes & Attractive Merchandise for customers who purchased insurance products directly at the BNI Life booth.
Participants could also join the Free Mini Health Check Program at BNI Life booth for all BNI UI HM participants and visitors. There were also prizes for runner winners of all categories in the form of insurance policies from BNI Life and BNI shares from BNI Securitas.
