PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI together with Plataran Indonesia presented a community festival entitled Plataran Xtravaganza. This event was a clear proof of BNI's commitment in supporting and promoting the culture of the archipelago and empowering the surrounding community by carrying out the values of the nation's traditions.
Repeating the success of a similar event that was held in 2022 in Bromo, this year's Plataran Xtravaganza took place for 2 days from November 30 to December 1, 2024 at the Plataran Borobodur complex. Present at the event were BNI Wealth Management SEVP Steven Suryana and Regional CEO of BNI Region 17 Office Ariyanto Soewondo Geni.
On that occasion, Steven as BNI Wealth Management SEVP said, all stakeholders’ support emphasized the importance of this event in building the growth of the creative industry ecosystem, cultural progress and tourism in Indonesia. “As part of the SOE's commitment to support the advancement of Indonesian culture and tourism, BNI is proud to collaborate in Borobudur Xtravaganza,” Steven said.
The event was held in several different strategic locations such as The Heritage Convention Center and Enam Langit by Plataran, giving a beautiful impression of Borobudur's culture and nature as well as providing the core philosophy of Plataran Indonesia which emphasizes “Hospitality with Impact”.
BNI is optimistic that measures to encourage the expansion of Indonesia's creative industries will have a substantial impact on the country's overall economic growth. BNI will continue to actively promote the creative industry in Indonesia and produce a positive impact on society and the Indonesian economy at large.
At the Plataran Xtravaganza event, BNI also supported cashless transactions by providing BNI EDC and BNI QRIS payment tools and providing special promos for its loyal customers.
