PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to show its commitment in supporting government priority programs, one of which is the 3 million houses program. This program aims to provide decent housing for low-income people while encouraging national economic growth.
In 2025, BNI will again contribute to the financing of subsidized houses through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) and Public Housing Savings (Tapera) schemes with a distribution target of 10,750 subsidized housing units from 10,021 units last year.
BNI Director Corina Leyla Karnalies said BNI's commitment in supporting sustainable development and improving people's welfare is carried out through the Government Priority Program for the procurement of 3 million houses.
“BNI's contribution in supporting the government's priority programs is also carried out through the FLPP program which is expected to overcome the housing backlog problem in Indonesia,” Corina said in a press release.
BNI is targeting subsidized KPR to increase to IDR 1.8 trillion in 2025 compared to IDR1.6 trillion last year. BNI's FLPP subsidized KPR program is channeled to the community to obtain their first home with the ease of access obtained through this program.
Through the FLPP scheme, people can own a house with a down payment of up to 1% and down payment support of Rp4 million for landed houses. In addition, people can also enjoy a special interest rate of 5% fixed until the end of the credit period with a tenor of up to 20 years. The maximum income for people who can receive this program is IDR7 million for single workers and IDR8 million for married people.
Not only that, through the Tapera scheme, BNI also supports the provision of houses for State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Through this scheme, people can own a house with a down payment of up to 1% and a low interest rate of 5% fixed during the credit period with a tenor of up to 30 years. The requirements to receive this benefit are Tapera participants with a maximum salary of IDR 8 million.
With a wide coverage, BNI ensures that this program can be enjoyed by more people in need. Through the implementation of the FLPP and Tapera programs, BNI carries out its function as an agent of development, becoming a strategic partner of the government in realizing the ideals of providing decent and affordable housing for all Indonesian people.
“This commitment is a clear proof of BNI's active role in supporting national development and improving the quality of life of the community,” concluded Corina.
