BNI President Director Received the Best CEO with Distinction 2022 Award

Jakarta, Tuesday (28/2/2023) -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI has succeeded in continuously increasing employee confidence amidst dynamic conditions during the pandemic.

For this achievement, BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar was awarded as The Best CEO with Distinction 2022 based on an employee choice survey conducted by Swanetwork and Dunamis Organization Services. Royke received the award in the category of companies with more than 1000 employees.

The award is given to CEOs who are considered capable of leading based on the leadership concept developed by Franklin Cove, namely the 4 Essential Roles of Leadership, which is a refinement of the Four Roles of Leadership concept.

Through these parameters, a CEO must have four abilities, namely building trust in employees in the midst of change so that the company can survive (Inspire Trust), creating company goals (Create Vision), executing strategies (Execute Strategy), and being able to place the right people in the organization (Coach Potential).

"I am very grateful and honored for the award I have received as The Best CEO with Distinction 2022. This award is not only because of my work, but also because of the hard work and dedication of all BNI employees who have worked diligently and produced the best performance for the company," said Royke, in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/2/2023).

As for under Royke's leadership, BNI in 2022 managed to record the largest net profit growth in BNI's history. BNI has managed to record 68% profit growth on an annual basis (Year on Year / YoY) to Rp 18.31 trillion in 2022.
In addition, last year BNI's credit growth also managed to grow 10.9% YoY with a loan at risk (LaR) ratio that fell from 23% to 16%, and the cost of credit fell from 3.3% to 1.9% in 2022. BNI's excellent performance was accompanied by the implementation of disciplined Good Corporate Governance (GCG) by the company.

"I would also like to thank Swanetwork and Dunamis Organization Services for conducting the employee choice survey and giving this award to me. I hope these four leadership skills required by a CEO can be an inspiration and guide for leaders throughout the company, so as to improve company performance and the welfare of all employees," he explained.

"Once again, thank you to all BNI employees who have worked hard and contributed to the success of this company. I am committed to continuing to lead and develop BNI to be better and be able to provide greater benefits to society and the country," he concluded. (*)
