Jakarta, Wednesday (7/12/2022) -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI and PT Bank Nagari are committed to building collaboration in developing regional ecosystems and strengthening regional banking services in West Sumatra.
The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out directly by Deputy President Director of BNI Adi Sulistyowati and President Director of Bank Nagari Muhamad Irsyad, accompanied by Finance Director of Bank Nagari Sania Putra at Grha BNI Sudirman Jakarta, Wednesday (7/12/2022).
This cooperation between BNI and Bank Nagari includes Joint Utilization of Products, Services, Channels, and Capabilities. In addition, there was also the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (CA) for API Sharing Biller & Remittance.
Adi Sulistyowati, who is familiarly called Susi, revealed that the business potential in West Sumatra is very large, starting from the livestock sector, agribusiness, marine and fisheries, plantations, mineral resources, and tourism.
Of course, the management of these economic potentials is also supported by abundant and qualified human resources.
With this huge potential, according to her, Bank Nagari cannot be left behind in working on existing business potential through innovative banking services and digital-based financial transactions.
BNI is also ready to become a strategic partner for Bank Nagari in accelerating the digitization of financial services. Including for future cooperation in fostering MSMEs to be able to upgrade to Go Global with the Xpora BNI program.
Furthermore, for biller sharing cooperation, BNI has more than 400 services that can be cooperated with Bank Nagari, ranging from electricity bill payments, water bill payments (PDAM), land and building tax (PBB), Insurance, Electronic Money Top Up, and others that can make it easier for Bank Nagari customers to meet their financial needs.
In addition, the Remittance cooperation allows Bank Nagari to provide remittance services abroad for Bank Nagari customers, by utilizing BNI's correspondent network and settlement capabilities abroad. This Remittance service will also be integrated with Bank Nagari's Mobile Banking channel.
Muhammad Irsyad added, this cooperation is expected to expand the scope of banking services for the people of West Sumatra so as to provide ease of transactions for the surrounding community.
This collaboration is expected to be felt by MSMEs fostered by Bank Nagari to be able to export abroad.
