This time, BNI gave appreciation to the racer Sean Gelael who successfully won the runner-up position in the 8 Hours of Bahrain with the WRT Team.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that the company is proud of the achievements made by Sean Gelael. The company hopes that more talented Indonesian young people will make global achievements in the future.
“We know that this championship is a high-level championship in the world and the achievement obtained by Sean is extraordinary,” Okki said.
Sean was paired with Ferdinan Habsburgh and Robin Frinjs, driving a WRT 31 car. They also came close to winning first place.
Unfortunately, his car had a problem towards the finish. The WRT team, which also fielded another car numbered 41, came out as first and second place. Car number 41 even became the overall champion of the LMP2 class.
Sean is still satisfied with the achievement he has made together with his team. "Ideally we won and WRT 41 finished behind us but they became LMP2 champions. That's racing though. Still proud of this result,” said Sean.
