BNI & UNHAS Collaboration Expanding Cooperation on Campus Financial Ecosystem Program

10/11/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI is expanding the Campus Financial Ecosystem program again by collaborating with Hasanuddin University.

Through this program, BNI proactively provides comprehensive financial solutions for the entire academic community ranging from students, lecturers, employees, alumni, vendors/partners, university business units and other parties related to UNHAS.

BNI and UNHAS launched the Campus Financial Ecosystem by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Hasanuddin University's Chancellor, Jamaluddin Jompa, and Director of BNI Institutional Banking, Muhammad Iqbal. This ceremony was conducted on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Hasanuddin University Rectorate Building in Makassar.

On this occasion, the Higher Education Ecosystem Program Cooperation Agreement was also signed between UNHAS Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Development and Finance, Subehan, and GM Institutional Banking 2 BNI Efrizal.

The collaboration represents BNI's financial and non-financial transactional support for UNHAS, including financial system integration via a cash management system and employee benefit programs.

Iqbal said that the company continues to encourage strengthening campus digitalization and takes proactive efforts to provide comprehensive services to the entire academic community through the BNI Campus Financial Ecosystem program.

"We really appreciate the collaboration of Campus Financial Ecosystem with UNHAS. Hopefully this program can help UNHAS towards an integrated and digital-based World Class University in order to realize more efficient and effective UNHAS financial management,” he said.

Iqbal explained that BNI has also collaborated with UNHAS on several services that have been proven to facilitate students’ transaction services and the UNHAS academic community, such as Student Payment Center (SPC) Host to Host, canteen transactions via QRIS, EDC, and the placement of BNI outlets on campus.

“Of course, in the future we will become more comprehensive in providing financial and non-financial solutions and increasing the value of both parties,” he concluded.
