Achieving Informative Predicate, BNI Received Public Information Disclosure Award 2023

20/12/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI received the Public Information Disclosure Award from the Public Information Commission (KIP) 2023 after participating in a series of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) implementations.

This event was organized by the Central Information Commission (KIP), starting from the stage of filling out the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), followed by the stage of public test presentation to the implementation of a verification visit for in-depth evaluation of the e-monev questionnaire and the results of the public test.

At the peak event, all public bodies then took part in the Public Information Disclosure Award 2023 which was attended directly by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin.

In his remarks at the event, Vice President Ma'ruf said that accurate and reliable public information is very vital, especially as Indonesia is in the run-up to the General Election 2024.

"Disclosure of accurate and reliable public information is now very vital because our nation is currently undergoing an election process. The aspect of information disclosure is believed to be the key to encouraging voter participation, as well as the implementation of honest and fair elections and local elections," he said.

According to the Vice President, the dismantling of public information services throughout Indonesia is still a homework that needs to be completed collaboratively.

Likewise, BNI Network & Services Director Ronny Venir agrees that mandatory disclosure information is applied to the performance of each public body as a form of responsibility to stakeholders as well as enhancing public confidence.

"BNI is actively involved in improving services to customers and the community through optimizing various communication channels by always prioritizing transparency and accountability in conveying open information to the public as a step in implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG)," said Rony.

BNI's priority is on developing and improving its internal information disclosure operating standards as guides for public information disclosure service standards, as well as ensuring compliance with Law of Public Information Disclosure.

Therefore, Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Disclosure Information 2023 is the 13th activity held.

This year, monitoring and evaluation was carried out on 369 Public Bodies including Ministries, State Institutions and Non-Ministerial Government Institutions, Non-Structural Institutions, Provincial Governments, State-Owned Enterprises, State Universities and Political Parties.

Public Bodies that received informative qualifications accounted for 139, or 37.7% of the total public agencies examined.

At the Public Information Disclosure Award 2022, BNI succeeded in achieving a score of 95.63 in the BUMN category. This year's achievement is a manifestation of BNI's consistency in providing easy access by building digital information service needs and consistently building awareness.

The services provided are ranging from websites, developing SOPs, financial literacy, empowering Agen46 to disseminate information, integrating service features, and offline service updates.
