Officially Launched by Erick Thohir, BNI Provides KUR and CSR to MSMEs in the Lambuang Bukittinggi Station Area

11/03/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, continues to be active in providing support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This commitment was realized in the distribution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to MSME players in the Lambuang Station area, Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, which was launched directly by the Indonesian Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir on Wednesday (6/8/2024).

Also present at the event were Bukittinggi Mayor Erman Safar, Member of Commission VI DPR RI Andre Rosiade, BNI Network & Services Director Ronny Venir, and Board of Directors of SOEs.

Ronny Venir said, MSMEs are one of the important pillars in Indonesia's economic growth. Therefore, BNI continues to strive to provide the right support and financial solutions for MSMEs so that they can develop and upgrade, so that they can advance tourism in Bukittinggi.

“CSR assistance provided by BNI to MSMEs in the Lambuang Station area is in the form of facilities and infrastructure such as tables, chairs, tents, neon boxes, and others. This assistance is expected to improve the convenience and quality of MSME services in the area,” said Ronny.

In addition to CSR assistance, BNI also digitizes transactions in the Lambuang Station area by providing QRIS and BNI EDC. This aims to encourage a cashless society and facilitate transactions for traders and buyers.

“Not only that, BNI also distributed People's Business Credit (KUR) to traders in the Lambuang Station area to increase their working capital. KUR BNI has low interest rates and an easy process, so it can help MSMEs in developing their business,” explained Ronny.

As a form of more comprehensive service, BNI also presents Agen46 in the Lambuang Station area. Agen46 is an extension of BNI that can help traders and visitors to conduct various financial transactions such as cash deposits, cash withdrawals, money transfers, bill payments, and others.

“All of this support is a form of BNI's commitment to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs and advance tourism in Bukittinggi,” Ronny concluded.
