BNI Xpora Brings Indonesian Coffee MSMEs to Amsterdam Coffee Festival 2024

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), through BNI Xpora, has once again proved its commitment to assisting Indonesian MSMEs in entering the global market. This time, BNI Xpora is bringing five products of exceptional Indonesian coffee MSMEs to the Amsterdam Coffee Festival 2024, which will take place on April 4-6, 2024 at Westergas in Amsterdam.

Five products of coffee MSMEs sent by BNI Xpora offer various types of coffee from Indonesia with local flavors and supporting products for the coffee industry. The types of coffee exhibited include robusta and arabica from Lampung, West Java, Central Java, Flores, and North Sulawesi.

BNI Retail Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies said, this participation aims to promote local coffee products and coffee industry supporting products to the global market. "Their participation is a strategic step to penetrate the global market and introduce the richness of Indonesian coffee flavors to the world," said Corina.

Amsterdam Coffee Festival is one of the largest coffee festivals in the world. More than 100 coffee brands will be presented by professional roasters, expert baristas, and coffee experts, as well as coffee lovers from various countries. The festival attracts more than 10,000 visitors every year, including coffee industry players such as distributors, coffee companies, and cafes.

The first two days of the festival are for selected coffee industry professionals. Then on the weekend, all visitors can enjoy the best coffees from around the world.

BNI Xpora not only introduces Indonesia's superior coffee products at the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, but also bridges coffee MSMEs with potential buyers from the Netherlands and other countries. This approach is projected to boost the volume of export transactions and open up new market prospects for Indonesian coffee MSMEs.

"We are optimistic that the participation of Indonesian coffee MSMEs in the Amsterdam Coffee Festival 2024 will open up new opportunities to increase Indonesian coffee exports and improve the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee in the global market," concluded Corina.
