25/05/2024. YOGYAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has again strengthened the Campus Financial Ecosystem program by collaborating with Yogyakarta State University (UNY). This synergy aims to provide comprehensive financial services for UNY academics.
This synergy is manifested in the form of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the Higher Education Financial Ecosystem Program and the Provision of Ambulance Vehicle Support.
The signing was carried out by BNI Head of Institutional Banking Division 2 Efrizal together with the UNY Chancellor Sumaryanto and the Chancellor for General Affairs and Resources of UNY Edi Purwanta, at the Rectorate Building of Yogyakarta State University, Wednesday (22/5/2024).
Present at the event were UNY Chancellor Sumaryanto, UNY Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Soni Nopembri, UNY Vice Chancellor for Planning and Finance Lantip Diat Prasojo, UNY Vice Chancellor for General Affairs and Resources Edi Purwanta, UNY Vice Chancellor for Research, Cooperation, Information Systems and Business Margana, and BNI Region 17 Leader Ariyanto Soewondo Geni.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that this collaboration aims to provide financial services to all UNY academics and is expected to create a more inclusive and financially educated environment for all UNY academics.
"This collaboration is a manifestation of BNI's commitment to supporting the advancement of education in Indonesia, especially through the provision of financial services that are easily accessible and beneficial for the UNY academic community," said Okki.
The scope of cooperation in the Higher Education Financial Ecosystem Program includes the provision of banking services, provision of corporate support, consumer product services, and loan facilities.
In addition, BNI also provided support in the form of one APV GL Ambulance unit in 2023. This support is expected to help UNY in serving the health needs of both the academic community and the surrounding community.
"This is a form of BNI's support as a banking service provider to provide comprehensive financial solutions on campuses. We hope that this relationship would benefit both UNY and BNI while also helping to develop education in Indonesia," concluded Okki.
