BNI and Mercubuana University Collaborate to Improve Campus Financial Ecosystem

13/08/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is committed to continuing to expand the development of the campus financial ecosystem. This time, BNI officially partners with Yayasan Menara Bhakti (Mercubuana University) to create a complete and modern campus financial ecosystem.

This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) carried out by the Chairman of Menara Bhakti Foundation Nurani Pujiastuti and BNI Institutional Banking Division 2 Head Efrizal. The event which took place at Grha BNI Building was also attended by BNI Institutional Banking Director Munadi Herlambang and other BNI leaders.

Through this collaboration, BNI offers a variety of financial solutions specifically designed to meet the needs of the entire Mercubuana University academic community, ranging from students, lecturers, employees, to alumni.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that this collaboration is carried out as a form of BNI's commitment in serving the provision of banking services for the needs of the UMB campus. The various facilities provided by BNI for the UMB campus include consumer product services, consumer credit facilities, and the Financial Institution Pension Fund (DPLK).

“BNI intends to make it easy for students, lecturers, employees, alumni, and vendors in the UMB campus environment to access the various banking services they need,” said Okki.

In addition to providing ease of transactions, this collaboration also aims to improve financial literacy among the UMB academic community. In addition, the company also hopes that this collaboration will provide benefits in the form of financial transactional solutions for UMB and education payment solutions for students in the campus ecosystem.

“We hope this collaboration can create a campus environment that is not only inclusive, but also encourages the growth of a financially savvy young generation,” Okki added.

As for now, BNI and Mercubuana University have collaborated in various matters, such as the use of the Combo 3 type Student Identity Card (KTM), payment of Student UKT through Virtual Account and SPC, cash management system, use of VA Debit, management of employee work allowances, consumer loans for employees, affinity credit cards, and the use of EDC and QRIS.

“With this increasingly close collaboration, it is hoped that it can provide significant benefits for both parties, both for BNI in expanding the customer network and for Mercubuana University in improving the quality of services to its academic community,” concluded Okki.
