PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI once again demonstrates its commitment to supporting the advancement of education in Indonesia through the Campus Financial Ecosystem program in the Eastern Region by collaborating with Halu Oleo University (UHO) in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.
That step also serves as one of the company's proactive efforts in socializing comprehensive digital financial solutions.
The kick-off of the Campus Financial Ecosystem was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to the Higher Education Financial Ecosystem by the Institutional Banking 2 Division Head of BNI, Efrizal, and the UHO Rector, Prof. Muhammad Zamrun, at Grha BNI Jakarta, on Wednesday (19/2/2025).
On that occasion, BNI and UHO also signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Campus Financial Ecosystem and the BNIdirect Receivables Cooperation Agreement as options for making Single Tuition Fee (UKT) payments for students and payment solutions for the Teacher Profession Scholarship Program.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that this Higher Education financial ecosystem program is a form of BNI's support to UHO, both in terms of financial and non-financial transactions.
As an implementation of the cooperation, BNI facilitates the integration of financial systems through the Cash Management System (CMS), credit facilities, issuance of Alumni Cards, internship programs for undergraduate students, practitioner teaching programs, and support programs for UHO's fostered SMEs.
BNI is also continuing to digitize campuses, one of which is by collaborating with UHO to provide comprehensive services for the entire Academic Community through the BNI Campus Financial Ecosystem program.
"We appreciate the opportunity for cooperation with the Campus Financial Ecosystem at UHO." BNI will certainly become more proactive in providing integrated digital-based financial solutions that meet the needs of the entire Academic Community, starting from financial solutions for UHO campus, all employees, even students and business actors around the UHO campus," said Okki in a written statement.
In the past, BNI and UHO have also worked together on a number of services that have been used and proven to facilitate banking transactions for students and the UHO Academic Community. These services include tuition fee payments through BNI Virtual Account, payroll payments, financial management, and transactions at the cafeteria through QRIS.
Okki hopes that this support from BNI can help UHO become a World-Class University in the Management and Development of Integrated and Digital-Based Coastal, Marine, and Rural Areas, in order to realize more efficient and effective financial management at UHO.
