BNI Strengthens Campus Digital Financial Ecosystem and Distributes CSR to UNSADA Students

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has reaffirmed its commitment to support digital transformation in the education sector while expanding social impact through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) program. This time, BNI is collaborating with Darma Persada University (UNSADA) in a strategic partnership to provide integrated campus financial services.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by the Head of Institutional Banking Division 2 BNI Efrizal and UNSADA Rector, Agus Salim Dasuki, at UNSADA Campus, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/18/2025). The event was also attended by BNI Institutional Director Eko Setyo Nugroho and Chairman of the Melati Sakura Foundation Rachmat Gobel.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, this collaboration not only encourages the digital financial ecosystem in the university environment, but is also part of BNI's commitment to expanding financial literacy and inclusion among the academic community.

“This collaboration is expected to provide sustainable benefits for all elements of the campus, both in financial services and social support,” Okki said in a written statement.

As a form of implementation, BNI presents the BNI-UNSADA Co-Branding student identification card which functions as an identity card, debit card, and electronic money (TapCash). Currently, the card has been used by 3,042 students and will be expanded to 1,000 new students this year.

However, what is equally important about this collaboration is BNI's form of social care through the CSR program. On this occasion, BNI provided assistance in renovating the basketball court on campus managed by the Melati Sakura Foundation under the auspices of the Indonesia-Japan Friendship Association (PPIJ), as a sports facility for students.

Apart from that, BNI also distributes scholarships to outstanding students from underprivileged families, as a real effort to support inclusive and quality access to education.

“This step strengthens BNI's commitment in supporting the transformation of national education, not only through financial service innovation, but also social contributions that have a direct impact on student welfare,” Okki concluded.

BNI is also trusted to manage salary payment services for UNSADA employees, who also have access to various financing products such as BNI Fleksi and BNI Griya.

With the synergy of financial services and social programs, BNI aims to become a strategic partner for more educational institutions in building an inclusive and highly competitive digital campus ecosystem.
