PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI won two categories at the BI Awards 2025 held by Bank Indonesia (BI) at the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting on Friday (11/28/2025). The award was presented by BI Governor Perry Warjiyo to BNI President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan and witnessed directly by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
BNI was named the Best Rupiah Monetary Control Partner Bank and the Best KBMI 3 and 4 People's Economy Driving Bank. These two awards affirm BNI's contribution in supporting the effectiveness of monetary policy and strengthening the people's economy system.
BNI President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan said that the award was a form of appreciation for the company's consistency in supporting Bank Indonesia's strategic programs.
“This award encourages BNI to continue strengthening its role as a strategic partner of Bank Indonesia in maintaining financial system stability and expanding access to digital financial services for the public,” said Putrama.
He further stated that Indonesia's economy throughout 2025 will show solid resilience amid global pressures. According to him, this is the result of policy synergy between the government and Bank Indonesia, which maintains macroeconomic stability while promoting national economic transformation.
“With synergy and the right economic policy direction, Indonesia is on a positive path to achieving higher, more inclusive, and sustainable economic growth,” added Putrama.
