The wondr Kemala Run 2026 international running event is not only a sporting event but also carries out a humanitarian mission by encouraging participants to run while making donations under the theme “Charity for Indonesia.” This event is a collaboration between PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), through its wondr by BNI platform, and the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation.
This initiative allows participants and visitors to directly contribute to helping communities affected by disasters in various regions across Indonesia, while fostering a spirit of solidarity across all backgrounds.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that this event is designed not only to promote a healthy lifestyle, but also to strengthen social awareness within the community.
“Through the wondr Kemala Run 2026, we aim to host an event that not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also fosters social responsibility. Participants will not only run but also contribute to helping communities affected by disasters in various regions,” Okki said in a written statement.
Embracing a spirit of togetherness, this event opens the door to participation for people from all walks of life, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or cultural background. The values of mutual cooperation and social solidarity are at the heart of the event.
As part of the humanitarian initiative, donations are made digitally by scanning QR codes available at various event locations, such as totems, banners, and flyers. This method makes the donation process more convenient and transparent for both participants and visitors.
The funds raised will be distributed to communities in areas affected by flooding, including Sumatra, West Java, and other regions in need of assistance. The fundraising campaign will run until the event’s climax on April 19, 2026, after which the funds will be distributed through relevant parties.
“Through this initiative, we hope that the community can come together, help one another, and collectively make a positive difference for those in need,” Okki emphasized.
By combining sports and social action, the wondr Kemala Run 2026 is expected not only to provide a memorable running experience but also to serve as a collective movement that strengthens community solidarity. This initiative underscores that sport activities can be an effective medium for fostering social awareness and making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
