BNI Affirms Commitment to Promoting the Digital Economy in Indonesia at the Indonesia Digital Bank Summit 2026

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has once again reaffirmed its role as a strategic partner in driving Indonesia’s digital economic transformation. This commitment was expressed through BNI’s participation in the Indonesia Digital Bank Summit (IDBS) 2026, organized by the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta on July 7, 2026.

BNI Consumer Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies said that BNI's participation in the Indonesia Digital Bank Summit 2026 reflects the company's commitment to strengthening digital transformation while simultaneously encouraging real sector growth through cross-industry collaboration.

"BNI believes that digital transformation can only have a greater impact if it is supported by close collaboration between banks, fintech, regulators and all stakeholders. Through participation in IDBS 2026, we want to contribute to building a digital financial ecosystem that is increasingly inclusive, innovative and sustainable," said Corina.

Carrying the theme "Beyond Banking: Redesigning Finance for Wellbeing and Growth in the Real Economy," the Indonesia Digital Bank Summit 2026 was a prestigious annual meeting that discusses transformation and innovation in the banking and financial technology (fintech) sectors in Indonesia.

This event presented a variety of activities ranging from an international conference that brings together regulators, banking industry players, fintech, and technology companies, a digital innovation exhibition (expo), to the Jakarta Bank & Fintech Connect networking forum.

Various discussion sessions addressed strategic issues such as the future beyond banking, improving financial wellbeing, inclusive economic growth, responsible financing, and strengthening digital infrastructure through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, cybersecurity, payment systems, and open APIs.

According to Corina, BNI's presence was a testament to the Company's commitment to strengthening digital transformation by presenting a digital experience for visitors through an interactive booth showcasing the Company's various superior digital transaction and service solutions, including the wondr by BNI and BNIdirect applications.

The booth provided visitors with an opportunity to learn more about BNI's various digital solutions. The wondr by BNI app makes it easier for customers to meet their daily financial needs conveniently, all in one app. Meanwhile, BNIdirect offers a digital solution for businesses to support more integrated transaction and operational management, improving company efficiency and productivity.

"Through the various digital innovations we present, BNI aims to provide a service experience that is increasingly easy, secure, and relevant to the community's needs, while strengthening its position as a trusted financial partner in the digital economy era," she emphasized.

As BNI celebrates its 80th anniversary on July 5, 2026, it continues to strengthen its digital transformation and expand financial inclusion as part of its dedication to the nation. In line with the spirit of Swadharma Bhakti Nagara, BNI consistently presents innovations and strengthens collaborations to provide added value to the community, the business world, and the national economy.

Through its active participation in the Indonesia Digital Bank Summit 2026, BNI believes that strong collaboration between regulators, banks, fintech companies, and technology companies will be an important foundation in building a resilient, inclusive digital financial ecosystem that is capable of driving sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.
