BNI Promotes Financial Literacy Among the Younger Generation through the Lampung Financial Festival 2026

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, continues to strengthen financial education for the public—particularly the younger generation—by supporting the Lampung Financial Festival 2026, which carries the theme "Young, Smart & Ready: Preparing Lampung's Youth for the Future."

Held at the Novotel Bandar Lampung on September 5 and 6, 2026, this event served as a forum for education and dialogue, helping the public better understand various economic and financial issues relevant to their daily lives.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that financial literacy is becoming increasingly important amidst the expanding access to financial services and digital transactions. The younger generation needs to possess an adequate understanding to utilize these conveniences wisely while making financial decisions that align with their needs and long-term goals.

“BNI’s support for the Lampung Financial Festival is part of an effort to expand financial education for the public. We hope this event provides insights that help the younger generation better understand how to manage their finances, plan for their needs, and use financial services wisely,” said Okki in a written statement.

The Lampung Financial Festival 2026 addressed a range of topics relevant to the younger generation, spanning income and expense management, financial planning, investment, the evolution of digital financial services, and the cultivation of healthy financial habits.

In line with these efforts, BNI continues to develop digital services through wondr by BNI to support customers' diverse financial needs—ranging from daily transactions to planning and managing funds for future requirements.

“Financial literacy goes beyond merely understanding products or services; it also encompasses the ability of the public to use them in a way that aligns with their individual needs and financial circumstances. Therefore, BNI continues to encourage the use of financial services in a more planned and responsible manner,” said Okki.

According to Okki, strengthening literacy is becoming increasingly important alongside the rapid development of digital services and the growing diversity of financial products accessible to the public.

As a state-owned enterprise within Indonesia’s Danantara ecosystem, BNI continues to support expanded access to financial services alongside efforts to enhance public financial literacy. This initiative is part of a broader drive to build a financially savvy customer base while fostering more inclusive economic growth.

Through collaborations with various parties and the strengthening of digital services, BNI will continue to empower the younger generation to be better prepared to make financial decisions, seize economic opportunities, and plan for the future
