Jakarta, 14 November 2019 --- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI held the national tennis tournament BNI Tennis Open 2019, which will be held at The Sultan Hotel Jakarta tennis court on November 16-22, 2019. This tournament is an advanced program of BNI Tennis Junior with a total prize of Rp 250 million.
“This BNI Tennis Open 2019 is the advanced of Tennis coaching program that BNI has made previously at the BNI Junior Tennis. We hope that this tournament can provide a place for broader and more competitive matches," said the Head of Marketing Communication Division of BNI, Indomora Harahap.
BNI Tennis Open 2019 will be a magnet for Indonesia's top players, bearing in mind that this tournament is included in the official PP Pelti (TDP) calendar, including Pelatnas who are prepared to represent the Merah Putih team in SEA Games 2019.
Christopher ‘Christo’ Rungkat, which has only focused on playing doubles in the world professional tournament for the past year, has ensured itself to enliven the men's singles sector competition in BNI Tennis Open 2019. In addition to Christo, Pelatnas inhabitants who will participate in this tournament are Muhammad Rifqi Fitriadi and the brothers David Agung Susanto and Anthony Susanto in the men's group. While in the women's section participate Aldila Sutjiadi, Beatrice Gumulya, Jessy Rompies, and Priska Madelyn Nugroho.

BNI Tennis open 2019 will hold single and double numbers, both male and female. The single main round provides 32 slots consisting of 20 participants who are accepted directly (direct acceptance), eight players who passed the qualifying round and four wild card recipients. In the double sector, there are 16 places in the main round and 16 pairs in the qualifying round.
Qualification round for men's and women's single, each of which provides 64 places will take place starting Saturday, 16 November. While the participant sign-in will be held on Friday, 15 November, 2019, until 17:00 at the competition arena, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.
