Jakarta, 13 March 2020 --- The Indonesian Ministry of Defense strengthens collaboration with state-owned banks incorporated in Himbara. This is evidenced by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Provision and Utilization of Banking Services with 3 State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) banks at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense (Kemhan), Jakarta, Friday (13 March 2020).
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, the Vice Admiral of TNI, Agus Setiadji, the Treasury and International Director of BNI, Putrama Wahju Setyawan and accompanied by the Institute Relations Director of BNI, Sis Apik Wijayanto.
BNI is one of the banking partners of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and as a company that has more than seven decades of experience in financial sector. BNI has a variety of products and services that can facilitate financial management while facilitating the banking service needs of all members of TNI and Civil Servants within the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia.
With this collaboration, TNI Members can utilize e-banking facilities, ranging from SMS banking, internet banking, ATMs, mobile banking, and phone banking to perform transactions. This collaboration can also facilitate TNI soldiers in conducting various digital-based transactions, such as purchase transactions of pulses, electricity vouchers, tickets, insurance premium payments, and other transactions.
BNI also provides solution in budget management through Supply Chain Financial (SCF). Procurement of main weapons systems (defense equipment) for partners or vendors of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense with various special offers.
