Jakarta, 25 November 2020 --- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI together with the Directorate General of Immigration collaborate in realizing the service of making new passports or replacing old passports in just one day. This feature is also prepared in a queuing-free model, so that it is in accordance with the health protocol that must be maintained during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This one-day passport service named Passport Sameday is officially and symbolically starting to be given at the BNI Emerald Outlet, BNI Menara Pejompongan specifically for BNI Emerald customers, Jakarta, Wednesday (25 November 2020).
The Consumer Busines Director of BNI, Corina Leyla Karnalies mentioned that in the banking sector, BNI is the first bank to support this Sameday Passport service, with the support of the Directorate General of Immigration (formerly the South Jakarta Immigration Office). Customers who benefit from this service are specifically BNI Emerald customers.
"With this service, we want to provide a special experience for the making and extension of Passport Sameday which is much needed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The location of services is provided in an exclusive place, namely at the BNI Emerald Pejompongan, BNI Menara Pejompongan in accordance with the Health protocol. We provide this service without having to register online beforehand. We specialize this service for Emerald customers," said Corina.
Health protocols are also provided in the form of a service period that is maintained as quickly as possible, namely 10 minutes per customer. That includes the process of taking fingerprints, and taking photos. After that, the process continues with the payment of the passport making fee using BNI Mobile Banking and transactions via BNI Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine.
