BNI Agen46 Reaches 175 Thousand, Third-Party Funds Reach IDR 2.98 Trillion

19/12/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI proactively presents banking solutions through BNI Agen46 in various regions of Indonesia to serve people who have not yet been able to access BNI services.

By the third quarter of 2023, it is recorded that BNI has more than 175,000 BNI Agen46 sales agents spread across more than 6,000 cities and 34,000 villages. This figure increased by 6.2%.

BNI Agen46 is also able to encourage the collection of TPF and transaction fee income. It is recorded that, in accumulation, Third Party Funds (DPK) originating from Agent operational accounts reached IDR 2.98 trillion until the third quarter of 2023 and fee based income (FBI) amounted to IDR 59.22 billion.

Paid transactions at BNI Agen46 continue to increase along with increased literacy, with an increase of 53 percent until the third quarter of 2023.

The total transactions at BNI Agen46 reached 58.9 million, dominated by cash withdrawals at 49 percent, telephone bill payments at 24 percent, others at 18 percent, and interbank transfers at 9 percent.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that the company is grateful that the BNI Agen46 program can continue to provide positive encouragement for both the community and MSME players.

"With BNI Agen46 access to banking services can be felt by various groups of people in Indonesia, which is the largest archipelagic country in the world. We can also continue to encourage BNI's function as a state-owned bank in reaching people in areas where branch services are difficult to reach," said Okki.

Okki explained, BNI Agen46 is a BNI partner, both individuals and legal entities, who have collaborated with BNI to provide banking services to the public such as Laku Pandai Services, Digital Financial Services (LKD) and e-Payment Services.

The presence of BNI Agen46 also makes it easier for MSMEs to manage their businesses. MSMEs have easy access to financing through BNI Agen46.

In the Laku Pandai service, people can open a BNI Pandai savings account, make cash deposits and withdraw cash.

On the other hand, through Digital Financial Services (LKD), people can register for electronic money, make cash deposits and withdraw electronic money.

Meanwhile, the e-Payment service allows people to make inter-bank transfers, purchase credit and electricity tokens, as well as pay various bills such as PDAM, multi-finance, BPJS Health and Employment, train and plane tickets, and various other payments.

"BNI Agen46 also has a number of advantages, ranging from a very attractive profit sharing mechanism to the amount of fees for transactions that can be received in real time by agents. In terms of loans, the company also has agents who are active in providing referrals," he concluded.
