29/12/2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) or BNI is committed to continuing to strengthen BNI Xpora services to help the Indonesian diaspora be more productive in their country of residence.
BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said, 2024 is a period full of opportunities, including for diaspora in carrying out various business plans.
Through BNI Xpora, the company seeks to provide comprehensive services for the diaspora to receive guidance and financing.
"In 2024, we want to further strengthen support for the diaspora. This is consistent with the Ministry of SOEs’ direction to encourage BNI to go global. Through BNI Xpora we continue to deliver complete solutions for diaspora’s businesses throughout the world," he said.
Royke stated that through BNI Xpora, the diaspora will obtain a range of resources to promote their business, including funding and marketing.
BNI provides assistance ranging from showroom spaces, delivery services, to links for affordable warehousing services thanks to BNI Overseas Office network spread across 7 countries.
"Of course, we invite them to look for partners to help them with shipping expeditions and logistics so that it is more efficient, so that the price can also be lower, we can help," he explained.
Royke continued, with the number of Indonesian diaspora abroad reaching 8 million people, BNI Xpora can act as an intermediary if any diaspora wants to open a business and invest.
"According to our records, our global diaspora totals around 8 million people. Actually, this diaspora has the potential to benefit other migrant worker diaspora; there are many diaspora people who want to contribute back to Indonesia or invest in Indonesia. "Well, that is also one form that we want to accommodate," Royke remarked.
