28/02/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is proactively supporting the 24th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft 2024). The largest craft product exhibition in Southeast Asia which will take place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on February 28 to March 3, 2024
Indonesian President Joko Widodo attended and opened the Inacraft 2024 exhibition. BNI and the Association of Handicraft Exporters and Entrepreneurs (ASEPHI) have been working together since 2005 or for 20 years through the Inacraft event.
BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said BNI continues to strengthen engagement with Inacraft 2024 participating MSMEs by providing a platform for MSMEs to go global through Xpora.
“BNI Xpora is committed to supporting the empowerment of MSMEs through a one-stop export solution program. As a state-owned enterprise with a mandate to go global, BNI seeks to proactively help MSMEs expand overseas market penetration,” he said.
At the Inacraft 2024 event, BNI Xpora will provide Go Global business consultation services at the BNI booth. MSME players can ask questions about MSME empowerment, including various training, mentoring, financing programs, and potential business matching with potential buyers from overseas.
“We hope that more MSME players can join the BNI Xpora digital portal, so that they will get access to various information and opportunities to participate in training programs, mentoring, business matching, and domestic and foreign exhibition events,” Royke added.
Royke conveyed, in Inacraft 2024 this time, BNI Xpora provided opportunities for MSMEs to conduct business matching with prospective buyers from abroad. As of the end of December 2023, Xpora has organized 83 trainings with a total of 7,429 MSME participants.
“Xpora's participation in various events both at home and abroad has reached 72 events attended by 1,033 MSMEs. BNI also took advantage of the Overseas Branch and Diaspora connections to organize 793 business matching events to date,” he explained.
In addition, BNI offers various attractive benefits to MSME players who participate in Inacraft in February 2024. Among other things, account balance bonuses of up to IDR 3 million for tenants with the highest balance increase.
In addition, there is also TapCash with a balance of up to IDR 750 thousand and Precious Metals for tenants with the highest EDC & QRIS transactions, as well as special merchandise for tenants who exchange EDC settlement receipts.
