PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has succeeded in making achievements and making extraordinary contributions to the development of the Indonesian banking industry amidst dynamic conditions during the economic recovery period after the pandemic and current global economic pressures.
For this achievement, BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar was awarded the prestigious CEO of the Year 2024 award at the INFOBANK TOP 100 CEO & THE 200 FUTURE LEADERS FORUM 2024 event, organized by Infobank at the Ritz Carlton Grand Ballroom, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta.
Royke Tumilaar was credited with successfully guiding BNI to become more resilient and competitive in the face of shifting banking sector dynamics. "I am really appreciative and humbled to have been named CEO of the Year 2024. In addition to my efforts, this award is a concrete representation of the commitment, diligence, and outstanding contribution of all BNI directors and staff in achieving the company's vision, mission, and business transformation," Royke said on that occasion.
In addition, the event also honored the Bankers of the Year 2024, which this time was achieved by BNI's Director of Technology and Operations Toto Prasetio. Toto Prasetio was recognized for his dedication to comprehensive digital innovation, including solutions for retail customers through wondr by BNI and integrated services for business and corporate customers through BNIdirect to strengthen BNI's position.
The 200 Future Leaders 2024 were also announced at the event, recognizing future leaders with great potential in the banking industry.
The honorees were those who are believed to bring positive changes in the Indonesian banking world in the coming years. The four individuals who made it to The 200 Future Leaders 2024 list were BNI Digital and Integrated Transaction Banking Director Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena, BNI Finance Director Novita Widya Anggraini, BNI SEVP Credit Risk Bun Hendra, and BNI SEVP Digital Business Rian Eriana Kaslan.
The event, which had as its theme "Towards a More Competitive and Innovative Future for Indonesian Banking," encouraged all stakeholders involved to keep working together to create a better, sustainable banking sector that can swiftly adjust to changing market demands and technological advancements.
In the future, Royke said that BNI is committed to continuing to innovate to support digital transformation, improve customer service, and strengthen financial inclusion in the financial services industry in Indonesia. In parallel with the direction of the Ministry of BUMN to BNI as a global bank, BNI is committed to playing an active role in bridging Indonesia with the world, especially through the expansion of international networks to support the diaspora and strengthen global economic relations.
